Music Videos
From Artists, for Artists: A harmonious symphony of picture and sound.

You're a musical artist, we're visual artists. Your rhythm, melody and vibe merge with the lyrics and message of your song to one beautifully orchestrated visual spectacle. Your fans are hungry to see what they can hear, and we're here to produce a stunning music video that compliments the listening experience and express your song in even more layers. And we love to meet other artists - we're on the same wavelength.

From Inception to Delivery
In the process of creating your music video, we will go through different stages of development, production and post production; we would like to involve you as much as possible in this process.
- Concept Phase
What made you write that song? What did you want to express with it? What role does the melody play, what emotions does it evoke? Who is that song, what is its character, what are its strengths? We analyze your song together, look at it from different angles, listen to your motivations and thinking behind the piece. It's absolutely integral for us that we understand why you made that song, and what the personality of the song is - a music video that just looks good is meaningless, it must support the song on so many different layers... and the earlier we understand the true essence of your song, the earlier we can base all future creative decisions on the song's true personality. Also, we want to know about you - the artist or band - and who you are, what your previous works were, what you plan in the future; if you want to build a style throughout your music videos or if you want them to be radically different from each other. - Writing
In a brainstorming session, we build upon the established personality of the band and song and come up with a story - which can be a story in the classical sense, or a loosely told story, more experimental, more fragmented and abstract; again, depending on what the song is about and how we can best enrich it with moving images. For us, it is important that this writing process is as close to a dialogue as possible - with us providing out filmmaking expertise and "how will we do that" knowledge, and you knowing what your song - Preproduction
Prodigium will start organizing and securing locations, props, studio space, extras etc. - if there are dancers or additional talent, we will either use a dance troop you worked together with or find a good fit ourselves. If the music video will have actors playing main roles in it, we will organize the casting and have you on our side deciding about which actor fits the video the best. Any additional personnel needed will be hired; all of our preparations will be transparent to you; we want to make sure you are on the same page as us. Depending on the planned distribution of the music video - TV, Online, Public Space - we will choose the fitting equipment and gear to make sure the music video looks great in all forms of media it will be shown in. - Production
Depending on the complexity of the music video, we will spend one to multiple days for the actual production. We will fill most of the creative lead positions like directing, cinematography or producing (unless you choose to work with a certain director) and make sure the music video gets realized and shot exactly how we imagined it together with you. - Post Production
After the video is shot, we will edit a rough cut and go through a feedback loop with you. The film will be synced to the music, any necessary extra soundbites will be recorded and we will go through Visual Effects and Color Correction - all within Prodigium Pictures. That way, you can be sure that the story, the footage and the post production all have the same signature and style. Your music video will feel powerful, directional and - of course - fit to your song like the glass shoe to Cinderella's foot.
